AI in recruiting with tamo.ai — how it works and what you decide
tamo.ai uses AI to find, evaluate and rank candidates, and to assist with replies and qualification. The AI supports your decision. It never decides who gets hired.
What the AI actually does
tamo.ai searches the professional market for your role, evaluates the profiles it finds against your job requirements, and returns a ranked shortlist with the evidence behind each assessment. In conversations it classifies incoming replies and suggests a reply you can edit.
The AI never sends a message on its own, never books an interview on its own, and never produces a hiring decision or a rejection.
What the Match Score means — and what it does not
The Match Score is a normalised ranking score: how well the available professional profile signals fit the requirements you described, expressed on a 0–100 scale so the list can be ordered.
It is not a probability of hiring success, not a prediction of job performance, and not a measure of a person’s quality. Two candidates a few points apart are, for practical purposes, equally worth reading.
Read “Why fit”, the gaps and the per-criterion evidence before you decide. That is where the actual reasoning is.
Your review is the decision
Approve and Reject are your decisions, and only approved candidates can ever be contacted. Approve All is a convenience for a list you have reviewed — not a way to skip the review. Decisions can be reversed.
When a candidate clearly declines
If a reply is a clear decline and the classification is confident, tamo.ai stops further outreach to that person automatically. This can only reduce contact, never start it. The stop is visible in the conversation history, marked as automatic, and you can correct the classification. Correcting it never sends a message by itself.
Limitations worth knowing
- Profile data comes from external sources and can be outdated or incomplete. A profile is not a CV and not a statement of availability.
- A shortlist is not the whole market. Sourcing and filtering exclude profiles before you see them.
- Searches are tied to the location you enter. Location-independent and remote roles are not modelled as a separate mode today.
- The quality of the result depends on the quality of your brief. Vague must-haves produce vague rankings.
- AI-written text can be wrong. Read a suggested reply before you send it.
Criteria you must not use
Do not enter requirements based on nationality, origin, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, health or disability, sexual orientation, political views or trade-union membership — neither directly nor through wording that stands in for them.
tamo.ai actively removes such signals from the evaluation and never uses profile photos or names as evaluation criteria. Location is used only as a job criterion, never as an indication of someone’s origin or language background. Language requirements are legitimate when the role genuinely needs them — state them as a job requirement.
